I’m sure that you are aware that all business operates under the man-made law of supply and demand. The demand must be equal to or less than the supply, in order for there to be a sufficient profit. Conversely, an overabundance of supply and low demand nets a lower profit.

On a personal note, all things operate under a similar law of supply and demand. However, it’s a “Universal Law.” (By “Universal” I mean that no “thing” or “living creature” can escape it.) Science and logic alike dictate that the Universe is filled with the essential substances needed for any good that any living creature may need. In other words, there is an incredible supply of whatever you need to obtain or attain any pure, good desire that you choose; it is up to you to provide the demand.

For example: the elements needed to build and run an automobile have always been in

existence. However, it wasn’t until there was a demand for transportation more efficient than a horse and carriage that the automobile came into visual existence. Whatever your desire or dream may be, the supplies that you need to turn that desire or dream into reality are in existence, right now. The fact that you have this desire or dream means that the supply is calling you, and the opportunity for you to achieve this desire is available. You possess all the supply that you need, but you will only enjoy what you demand and your mind can comprehend.

The key to unlocking the supply is for you to see your desire with your “mind’s eye” not the “visual eye” that you are using to read this ezine. Your “mind’s eye” lies inside of your being, in your conscious and subconscious mind. You must increase the demand of what you desire, by first seeing the desire as being real in your mind.

To do this, you must be conscious of what you have right now – that is, be conscious of the abundance that you have in your life, right now. As you think of this abundance and expand your thinking to include more abundance, more abundance you shall have!

Find a place where you feel peaceful and secure. Think of all that you currently have in your life. (Most people are surprised at all the true abundance that they actually possess.) In your mind, try and connect with the Universe and realize that there is a greater good available and that you can use it. Acknowledging your current abundance and be grateful.

Now, place the demand or desire for more abundance into the law or in other words state your desire for more abundance. State you desire for your dream or ideas to become reality. See in your “mind’s eye” all the good things in existence now. See in your “mind’s eye” your dream or idea in existence now.

It might be easier to create a movie in your mind of your having more abundance and achieving your desire. Notice how you feel and what you see in this “mind movie.” Try and experience as much of the movie as you can. Play that movie over and over again in your mind. By doing that, you are consciously and subconsciously increasing your demand for your desire to become reality, which will be filled by the supply that is already in existence in the Universe.

Why? Because it is the Law. Again, not a “man-made” Law, but one of the many Universal Laws by which all creatures live.  By using this Law, you are becoming a magnet for the substance needed to create your reality. You will attract to you - like a magnet attracts metal - the substances that you need to obtain your desire.

Once you have done these steps, state your gratitude and appreciation that your desire or dream is fulfilled. Then let it go. Do not go back and tinker with it. Just let the Law work.

As you follow this process, it may “feel” a little “weird.” You may also feel negative and doubtful of the outcome. This is not unusual, because you have been domesticated (through schooling, parents, work, etc.) to first “believe it when you see it.” However, you control what you think, so you must eliminate these “non-pure” thoughts, as quickly as possible. As I stated, you are becoming a magnet for the substance needed for your desire to become reality, and a magnet in a weakened state can not fully attract what it was designed to attract. Conversely, a magnet in a fully-charged state will attract exactly what it is designed to attract.

Additionally, do not allow what you see with your “visual eye” to negate what you see with your “mind’s eye.” People will play this movie in their mind, and then when they use their visual eye (go back to work, deal with bills, etc.), they become negative and depressed. Remember that your current condition or what you are seeing with your visual eye was first created in your mind’s eye. (Hence the Law of Cause and Effect – your present condition is the effect; the cause of that effect is what you have thought or have seen repeatedly in your mind’s eye in the past.) In other words, you have been using the Law of Supply and Demand, albeit in reverse. As they say, “Bless your mess” and change the imaging in your mind to see your “new” movie.

In business, both supply and demand can be manipulated. In the Universe, the supply is always there, and it is never manipulated. It is there for everyone. However, the demand and use of that supply is up to each individual. The supply is there; the demand is up to you.





When my neighbor’s child was about 8, he decided that he wanted to lemonade stand. He asked me to help him, which I did. And he was very serious about the whole matter. The stand had to look like a “real store.” The “lemonade needed “real” lemons. We had to go to the bank, so that he would have, as he put it, “the appropriate amount of change needed to complete any sale,” etc.  He had me sign a work contract with him – made out of crayons – and tested me on my ability to count out change. (Luckily, he was unaware of business insurance, city permits, and employee benefits!)

The stand actually showed a profit (something like $5.00) for the two days it was in operation. The reason why this “money maker” was only in business two days was because my neighbor’s child felt that he had achieved his goal, and was now going to “move on to something else.”

Through this ordeal, I never said a negative word, wise-crack or doubted his sincerity. What fascinated me was that he took the whole project so seriously. When I brought this episode up recently to him (he is now an adult!), he was himself amused at how much that stand meant to him at that time. He was amazed at how seriously he took the whole thing and that he felt that the stand was very important to his life and well-being. He also remembered how overwhelming and insurmountable he thought the obstacles were that he encountered while we created the stand.

However, don’t we react the same way with our dreams, desires, and goals? Don’t we react the same way, with regard to doing many of the things that we are asked or paid to do?

Replace the lemonade stand with an upcoming meeting that you have to attend. Perhaps you are taking it very seriously. You have prepared your documents and your presentation to the utmost degree. You haven’t taken any calls, returned calls or emails – because you must not be distracted from this mission. You have spent hours at home putting everything together. You have gone out of your way to create the perfect presentation. Regardless of the problems or obstacles that you have faced at work or home, you have set them aside for this meeting. As the lemonade stand was “very important” to this young child, this meeting is “very important” to your life and well-being.

The day of the meeting arrives. You are ready to do your presentation. You deliver your presentation successfully. However, there will be no decision made on your presentation at this time, because the boss has decided to “move on to something else” right now.

Another scenario might be that the boss decided to move forward on your ideas. Your ideas are successful and now your boss, and you, will “move on to something else.”

In either scenario, looking back six months or three months or one month from your meeting, was it really “that” important to your life and well-being? Was that meeting worth irritating fellow employees and/or vendors or customers by not returning their call or emails? Was that meeting worth disrupting your home life?

Obviously, the answer is “no.” If you even remember the meeting a year later, will you be able to see that all that “seriousness” did nothing but cause anxiety and stress in your life?

Take a moment and look at what you feel is so “serious” with regard to your professional and personal life. Ask yourself, “Am I inflating the importance of what I need to do?”

“Is it really ‘that’ important or am I making it appear to be ‘that’ important?’

Some inflate the importance of what they are doing or need to do, because of low self-esteem. We have all met people who take their job too seriously. Yet, do you also do the same thing? When you examine your current “to dos,” you will observe that very few, if any, are important to your life and well-being. By releasing this superficial importance, you release stress and anxiety from your life. You begin to flow with life, as opposed to trying to swim against the current.

The only true struggle in my young friend’s mind was the struggle that he brought on himself. Stuart Wilde wrote a small booklet years ago with a title that says it all, “Life Was Never Meant to be a Struggle.” And so be it!

When I was about 15 years old, I was performing my magic and mindreading act on a fairly regular basis, I remember one show very clearly in my mind. I was standing backstage and peeking through the curtains at the audience. What I saw that night was what I perceived to be a “rough crowd.” There was a lot of noise, laughter, and shouting going on. What I didn’t know then (but know now) is that meant that the audience was in a good mood and that this show could be a lot of fun.

However, I was scared to go out on stage and face – what I perceived – as this “wild” audience. The more I thought of what might happen, the more scared and nervous I got.

My dad was with me - which was often the case - and I turned to him and said, “Dad, I can’t go on.”

My dad patiently said, “Okay. But let me ask you, do you want to go on or are you just nervous?”

I thought about his question for a moment and replied, “I do want to go on, but I’m scared.”

My dad replied with a statement that I feel changed my outlook on performing and on life itself. He said, “Bob, just go out and have fun. When you have fun, the audience has fun. When you get uptight, the audience will feel it and you won’t have a good show”.

With those words ringing in my mind, I went on stage and decided to have “fun.” I did, and so did they.

Has your attitude ever stopped you? Have you ever decided not to do something, because you predicted a negative outcome? Has your attitude ever tainted your “perception”?

Challenge: When faced with a situation that you are unsure of, instead of perceiving a negative outcome, try and visualize a positive outcome. It’s just as easy to visualize a positive outcome as it is a negative one. It’s just a choice, as to which one you choose to focus on. Remember, thoughts are things. People have ability to pick-up on other people’s feelings, especially fear.

Instead of having thoughts and feelings of fear and worry – think positive thoughts, and conjure up feelings of confidence, power, grace and, if possible, fun!
