Change the way you think. Create magic in your life!™

My wife and I had a wonderful time in Bangkok where I was delivering a number of presentations for the Asia/Australia sales force of ABB. We met so many super people and Thailand was beautiful. My final program for this year was for the great people at MonaVie. What a wonderful group of achievers, who know how to make the magic happen in their lives. I hope to see you all again.

It has been a phenomenal year and I want to thank of all my clients for including me and my associates in their meetings, trade shows, and events. Next year is already filling up, so again thank you!

Also, I would like to thank all of you for not only reading this ezine, but also for forwarding it to others. As the saying goes, "If you help others, you help yourself." Finally, a big thank you goes out to all of you who have listened to my free podcasts at . I will be adding some more in the next couple of weeks.

The article this month is fitting for this time of year, when we all must remember to return to the "source" and accept the unlimited supply of ideas and dreams, as well as abundance, happiness, and peace that is there for us.

Till next time,

A few days ago, my wife and I went for a walk on the beach. While we were there, my wife picked up a number of sand dollars. She had always done this as a child and knew exactly which ones she wanted - she wanted them to be unbroken and perfect.

She carefully placed each on of them in the pocket of the jacket that she was wearing. The next day, she went to get her jacket. Forgetting that the sand dollars were in it, she threw it over her shoulder. The sand dollars fell out of her pocket and came crashing to the floor.

As we sadly looked at the now shattered sand dollars, my wife mentioned that a few had survived the fall. I said to her, “Well, don’t worry about the broken ones. We can always go back to the source. We’ll go back to the beach and get some more. God has made an infinite supply.” My wife then said, “Well, next time - I’ll be more careful where I put them.”

Those sand dollars are a lot like our dreams and goals. We seek out the most perfect ideas and dreams for our lives, yet they sometimes end up shattered and broken, due to circumstances that we create - or in some cases, circumstances created by others. We look at our broken dreams and goals and wonder why that happened. We ask ourselves what we could have done differently.

Regardless of what we decide that we “could” have done - the dream is broken. However, like the sand dollars, God has made an infinite supply of dreams and ideas. You need only to go back to the “source” to find some new inspiration and insight.

Additionally, you can learn from your “broken” experience and make sure that you don’t repeat the same mistakes. Someone once said, “Mistakes are nothing more than opportunities to start again, only this time with more information.” When you return to the source for your new idea or goal, use your acquired “information” to start over. And should that not work out, don’t worry - your supply of dreams and aspirations will never run out …just go back to the “source.”
