Your ideas are invisible, just like you

Ideas are invisible. Yet, one cannot argue that they don’t exist. Each day you receive countless ideas from your subconscious mind and others through your conscious mind. On how many of these ideas do you think and act?

The world has domesticated us into thinking that many of our ideas are useless, stupid, and plain won’t work. Many of the greatest ideas have been lost, because someone listened to the masses only to be found again by some brave soul who stepped out from the regimented thinking of others and worked diligently toward making that idea a reality.

It’s easy to separate bad ideas from good ideas. If you idea is moral and hurts no other person, then it’s a good idea. Putting this idea into action may not be so easy. However, those who do decide to take action are willing to undergo some difficulty and minor inconveniences to let their idea later come to life.

What about you? Have you had any good ideas lately? I’m sure that you have. In fact, many of the people whom I have come in contact with - either through trade shows and meetings or my numerology readings - have told me that they would like to start their own business, become a writer and so-on. They have said that if they could develop their idea that they would be incredibly happy and fulfilled.

What seems to stop many of them is the fact that they will have to make some changes and these changes will affect their family, job, etc. These changes may make themselves and others feel uncomfortable. My question to them is, “How will you feel if you don’t develop your idea? Will you be unhappy the rest of your life; unhappy at home or at work?”

For those who answer in the negative or unknowingly, more questions need to be answered. Let’s not worry about how others will feel; let’s think about you. Most of your family and friends who “really love you” are not controlling and want you to be “really happy” with your life, will go along with the changes. Those who dismiss your ideas are trying to control you so that they may continue “their” lives the way “they” like, without any disruption on your part. (Sorry, but it’s true.)

Your ideas do not come to you from an empty hole or a man on a mountain; they come from the Universal Spirit or God. I believe it was Catherine Elizabeth Ponder who once wrote, “Whenever you have an idea, that is God tapping at the door of your mind.” So, do you choose to answer the door or not?

Your ideas are without form or limits; they are invisible, just as you are. “What? I’m not invisible,” you say. Well, try this experiment: Sitting in your chair, sit back, close your eyes and relax. Think of yourself as being with limit or space. You can certainly feel your clothes that bind you, and the chair, and maybe the floor beneath your feet. But now, without the use of your hands or any object, note where your chin begins. Where does your nose start, your forehead, your neck? How about the back of your hands or your knees?

You can’t feel where your body begins or ends. In this relaxed position, it is impossible to tell where YOU begin, with regard to outline and form. You seem to extend forever. Let this “awareness” expand. Feel – with your mind – beyond the self imposed restrictions that you have placed on your physical body. You’ll discover that this “awareness” has no limit on time, space or conditions of the past, present, or future.

If you continue this exercise, you will eventually let go of the “belief” that you are all body and, instead, realize that, in fact, you are consciousness, thought, and idea. You are consciousness; you can expand as far as you desire, and the “true you” is invisible.

How this relates to your ideas is simple: Every idea has come about because someone decided to expand his or her consciousness. These people went beyond the limitations that were self-imposed or forced by others. As you are invisible, so are the ideas that enter your consciousness.  If you decide that your conscious idea is good and moral, you can send that idea down to your subconsciousness and demand that it become a reality, and it will.

As you can expand your “body” or “physical” consciousness, you can expand your “idea” consciousness. Expand your idea consciousness and except the fact that you may experience some minor inconveniences in bringing this idea to its “body” or “physical” shape, but that you are willing to take these hurdles in stride now, in order to bring your idea into physical form. If you make that decision and step out from the restricted thinking of your past (and of others) then your invisible ideas will become visible and so will your happiness.

The following is an affirmation that ties into the above article. Some of you may find it helpful. I am a firm believer in the power of affirmations. They’re a way for you to communicate positive messages to your subconscious mind. By saying an affirmation aloud (with conviction) you send a message to your subconscious that you now mean business and that you demand your subconscious to take note and work toward bringing this affirmation to reality. The more times that you say an affirmation and believe that “it is so” the more it becomes reinforced into your subconscious. This reinforcement along with your conviction and demand “this is now what I know to be real and true” eventually makes the affirmation transform itself into a reality.

Affirmation: I welcome all the thoughts and ideas that come to me; knowing that I can bring these ideas to form. No one and no thing sits in judgment nor does. The goodness of my ideas are the goodness of God. I am invisible and endless and I am expanding my consciousness to accept the gifts that are available to us all. I am set-free from all self-judgment, guilt and self-condemnation. I am now released from the controlling powers of others. I am free. I am free to move forward in my life. It is so. I am free.

Want to be an entrepreneur, a professional writer or speaker?

I have met many people who either want to be an entrepreneur or be a professional writer or speaker. For some of these people it is just a dream; for others it is a serious goal. I have been coaching people on how to take that goal and make it a reality for a long time.

If you are interested, please let me know. Most of the meetings are via the phone and the fee is $75.00 per hour with a 2 hour minimum for the first meeting.

However, please note that this is for serious students only. It can stay a dream, if you like. But if you’re really interested, then you might as well as learn from someone who has been there and is doing that.

Email me at to set-up an appointment. Between trade shows and speeches at meetings, numerology readings, writing books, and coaching others, my time is limited. But I do want to see you make your dreams become goals and those goals become reality.

So, don’t delay, email me now at

Let me tell you about our first guest author, Linda Cosma. She is a registered nurse and a devout practitioner in internal martial arts. (In other words, she doesn’t fly through the air, she works on the mind-body connection.) Linda knows quite a bit about the power of the mind and how it relates to health. A dear friend, she writes as she speaks, so I know that you’ll enjoy her article.

Never Underestimate the Power of Placebo

Recently, my martial arts sifu and I were talking about how powerful the mind can be, if one allows that power to work. I spoke of a story I remembered from my own readings (I’m an R.N.) that is based on a true incident.

The story tells of a man frantically coming into an E.R. and announcing to the triage doctors that he was dying. The doctors examined him and found nothing. His vital signs were good; labs and EKG – all normal. They sent him home, probably with a suggestion to seek counseling.

The same man returned to the E.R., three days later, with the same complaint. He still looked okay, but now his labs were a little off; vital signs - a bit higher. Still, everything was within normal limits. So, they sent him home and suggested he see his primary physician.

Three days later, the man returned. Again, he claimed he was dying, and sure enough – this time, he looked bad. His vital signs were unstable; his labs were all off and now showed early kidney failure. Why? There seemed to be absolutely no reason for this to have happened. The doctors admitted him to the hospital and watch helplessly, as he began a slow decline to obvious death.

In desperation, finally one of the interns asked the question – “Why do you think this is happening?” The man replied that a voodoo witch doctor had put a curse on him and told him that he would die within a month. (Stunning!)

Fortunately, these doctors would not allow their thinking to be only in one belief system. They thought out of the box.

The intern did some quick research, and he and a few other doctors gathered to announce to the man that they were familiar with how to break this curse. They performed their “pretend” ritual and chanting. In hours, the improvement began. Within a week, the man, who believed himself cursed, walked out of the hospital in excellent health.

This isn’t a rarity. The belief of health vs. illness is enough to make or break a person’s constitution. (This is not to say that if a person believes they will always be well that they will be. Nonsense. Everyone gets sick. There is such a thing as denial.)

As we age, our genetic predispositions appear. Of course, we must be wise enough to seek medical advice and follow it. The importance of the mind is attitude. Does one allow the illness or condition to take control of them? Does one allow their blood sugar to rise or not eat or plan exercise? Does one give up?

One takes control. One says, “I know I can control this by adjusting my life, following medical advice and taking responsibility.” Here is the key to an empowered mind –

ADJUST.  Flexibility. Although one will, at first, grieve over a diagnosed condition (this is normal), grief should not be the symptom with which one deals.

In the Eastern philosophies of Taoism and Buddhism, mental flexibility is a worthy attainment. Therefore, do not get caught up in what cognitive behavioralists warn about: the “should’ve,” would’ve,” “could’ve.” This is defeating in the long term. If there is a lesson to be learned (like, “I should exercise more to keep my blood sugars low”) then learn it. Do not dwell on what cannot be changed. This is a waste of time … ADJUST.

Incorporate it into one’s daily routine and continue on this new path. Life is not a straight line. On an EKG – a straight line means one is dead. Life is a series of events and learning experiences that teach us resilience, survival, love and good cheer. Take a positive attitude, learn, adjust and continue down your new path. Be flexible and do not fear.

The “Placebo Effect” is no longer snickered at in medicine. More and more, one reads or hears of a new medicine being studied and they now no longer say that the drug is “more effective than the placebo.” You should never underestimate the power of the placebo, because you should never underestimate the power of the mind.

Time Travel: What's Your Speed and Direction?

Our personalities are the key to finding out what kind of time manager we are. Whether we tend to do too much or too little, overwork or underwork, buzz around like a bee or freeze through procrastination, all comes down to one thing: which of the following Time Travellers are you?

1. The Perfectionist. The Perfectionist is one of the worst examples of a workaholic. They fill up their days with work activities in the belief that everything they do has to be as perfect as possible. George Bernard Shaw was a typical workaholic. He wrote mechanically every day of his career. Looking back on his life, he said, "When I was a young man, I observed that nine out of ten things I did were failures. I didn't want to be a failure, so I did ten times more work."

2. The Socialiser. The Socialiser is not a good time manager. If you are in conversation with a Socialiser, you'll know this for they are the hardest people to break away from. Socialisers simply love to be with people, talk about people, and be of service to people. This invariably means putting time and other duties into second place.

3. The Achiever. Achievers have mastered the art of looking like perfect time managers. They seem to be good at everything they take on, seem to manage things with effortless ease, and seem to enjoy themselves in the process. But, beware, a lot of the impression may be false. Achievers are good at show and not so good at substance. When you are dealing with an Achiever, always look under the surface at what they've actually achieved.

4. The Artist. When you are dealing with an Artist time personality, you'll know it. They look different, dress different, and behave different from others. They also have a cavalier attitude to time which they regard as a constraint and restriction. They thus arrive late or early, ignore rotas, and frequently miss deadlines. But the work they produce is invariably one of a kind and in their eyes makes up for their lax attitude to time.

5. The Analyser. The Analyser has a touch of the absent-minded professor about them. They can easily get so wrapped up in their thoughts and ideas or in conversation with others that they can forget the routine details of daily life - such as preparing a meal, going to bed on time, keeping appointments. But while their outer life may be muddled, their inner world of thoughts is invariably rich and gifted.

6. The Procrastinator. The Procrastinator is a person who hesitates to act because he or she is unsure whether they should. It may be because something hasn't been decided, or information isn't yet available or because a higher authority hasn't sanctioned it. Procrastinators are the great doubters, questioners and hesitators. In workplaces, Procrastinators prefer to let others own their time rather than own it themselves. They will therefore drop anything at any time if asked to, no matter what the cost in piled-up work or stress.

7. The Hurrier. The Hurrier is a person who manages to combine a wide range of activities in a short space of time. Everything they do is done at a quick pace: they move quickly, talk quickly, think quickly. They are multi-talented and never say No to any job that comes their way even if they move on to something more interesting before they finish it. They are the human equivalent of the Hare in Aesop's fable.

8. The Rebel. Rebels are life's fighters. They believe that time is something to be challenged and beaten. They thus like to run late for deadlines, coming to life in the tension this creates and knowing that they will beat it in the end. They push time to the limit. They embody the sentiments of Edna St Vincent Millay who wrote: "My candle burns at both ends; it will not last the night. But, ah, my foes and oh, my friends: it gives a lovely light."

9. The Wanderer. Wanderers are people who enjoy the freedom to do what they like. In organizational settings, this can cause a problem. They may not be totally committed to the work ethic and may go at their own speed which makes them appear lazy. On the other hand, Wanderers are far more in tune with the pace of the world and may achieve a far higher level of contentment than the rest of us.

When you know the kind of Time Traveller you are, you can make adjustments in your plans to iron out the features that don't serve you well and enhance the ones that do. That's the secret of successful Time Travel!

Numerology Readings, plus free booklet!

Numerology has been around for over 4000 years. It was revived by Pythagoras, Plato, and the Christian mystic St. Augustine. The book, “I Ching” and feng shui all stem from numerology.

Numerology looks at your birth month, date, and year and can - through a series of calculations - tell you what your current life path is and what is possibly ahead in your future. But this is the tip of the iceberg.

Here is what TM from Arizona had to say,

“I found Bob to right on with his readings. He answered my questions and showed me what aspects of my life I need to work on.”

The readings are $45.00 for 30 minutes and $80.00 for an hour. You get the reading and full explanation, questions answered, and more. Plus, you get my new booklet on numerology which will tell you how to find your lucky number, your ideal mate, as well as how you can learn to give readings for others, absolutely FREE!

Just email me at to schedule an appointment.

P.S. I have done my readings for many people all over the world. Their fun, informative, and exciting! So, email me now at

My company, MCC – Motivative & Communicative Concepts – is known for helping its clients maximize attention and quality leads at trade shows and for making meetings and events fun and exciting.

My associates and I are specialists. By that, I mean we specialize in mixing a business or motivational message with magic and fun at corporate functions, worldwide. That's all we do. We are not general practitioners that perform at a variety of places - only corporate functions. Just like when you go to a doctor, there is a world of difference between a general practitioner and a specialist. If the outcome that you desire is critical (such as at a trade show), you want a magician/spokesperson who can attract crowds to your booth and get you targeted leads. Or at a meeting for customers or employees, if you want a speaker who is not only entertaining, but also has proven and powerful content - then you want a specialist.

Again, if the outcome that you desire is important (and when in business is the outcome not important?) get a specialist. That’s us. So, give us a call now!
